Technical description

The RedSet^™ digital signage platform consists of both front-end (user facing) and back-end (site-level) components.

RedSet

1. Use RedSet’s simple Web-based application to create and schedule
content.

2. A PC-based player at each site addresses screens, manages playback
and collects network activity and health data. (Solid state player option also
available.)

3. Media and data can be transmitted via Internet, LAN or satellite.

4. Marketing users can view network health and content playback reports
via web.

Operates on any Mac- or PC-based browser
Requires Adobe Flash Player 9

RedPlayer software

Operates on standard Windows XP/Vista PC (solid state device option also available)
Controls multiple simultaneous audiovisual streams per PC Player
Manages playback on an unlimited number of displays of any type (plasma, LCD, LED)
Plays back all multimedia file types and codecs in native format
Conducts health checks
Minimum technical requirements:
- Single channel: Celeron, 2GHz, 256Mb RAM, 40 GB hard drive, XP Pro
- 2-3 channels: Pentium 4/Pentium D, 512 Mb RAM, 40GB Hard drive, XP Pro

Integration requirements

All you need in order to integrate the RedSet into your network is an IP connection (e.g., broadband)!

Upgrade capabilities

The RedSet platform is built on a technical infrastructure that allows for an immediate and smooth upgrade to more sophisticated capabilities, including our Messaging Manager platform. The Messaging Manager is designed for large or complex digital signage networks and offers such capabilities as:
